60-second two-player online reactor run

Core Crew by Arcadigo

Core Crew is a free two-player online cooperative reactor run with a 60-second limit. Hold Repair near a deterministic fault until its progress reaches 100, then the other crewmate must use Seal within 1.2 seconds. A successful Seal clears that fault, lowers heat and freezes further heat growth for three seconds. Unresolved faults push the shared gauge toward 100. Complete eight linked Seals before the horn to survive; otherwise the reactor melts down.

Two colorful Core Crew engineers repairing linked faults around a bright reactor while a heat gauge rises

What is the purpose of Core Crew?

Turn individual movement into a shared rescue plan: cover the reactor, reunite to complete linked faults and protect one team heat meter.

The objective

Seal eight deterministic faults before the 60-second horn while keeping shared heat below 100. Both partners receive the same survived or meltdown result and mirrored crew score.

Your first match

  1. Watch the shared heat gauge and active fault states.
  2. Hold Repair on an in-range fault until it reaches 100 and becomes primed.
  3. The other crewmate must use Seal on that primed fault within 1.2 seconds.
  4. A successful Seal clears the fault, lowers heat by 8 and pauses heat growth for three seconds.

Focused controls

One core action and one signature decision

Every player enters with the same actions. Timing and coordination create the advantage; there is no paid loadout or hidden stat bonus.

Repair

Hold Repair on the selected in-range fault until its progress reaches 100 and becomes primed for the partner.

Seal

The other distinct crewmate must Seal a primed fault within 1.2 seconds. Success clears it, lowers heat by 8 and freezes heat growth for three seconds.

Core Crew FAQ

Questions before the first match

Is Core Crew competitive?

No. Core Crew is a true online two-player cooperative run. Both crewmates share the same reactor, score and final survived or meltdown result.

What is the crew trying to do?

Seal eight deterministic faults before the 60-second horn while keeping shared heat below 100. Some linked faults require coordinated attention.

What does Seal do?

After one crewmate primes a fault with Repair, the other must Seal it within the shared window. Success removes the fault, lowers heat by eight and freezes all heat gain for three seconds.

Can one person start with an AI crewmate?

Yes. Instant Match prefers another person, then may add one clearly labelled AI crewmate. Human Only never adds AI and waits for a second person.

Does a bot receive a hidden advantage?

No. AI uses the same movement, repair and Seal rules. Difficulty changes response delay, route efficiency and mistakes rather than adding a hidden stat bonus.

Instant Match searches for one crewmate, then may fill the partner seat with clearly labelled AI. The AI uses the same Repair progress, heat and 1.2-second partner-Seal rule.

Human Only never adds AI and waits for a second person to complete the two-player Crew until the player cancels.
