How Arcadigo Works

Follow an Arcadigo match from secure guest session and matchmaking through server-verified results, XP and rematches.

1. Start with a secure identity

You can enter as a guest. Arcadigo creates a cryptographically random session token, an original generated display name and a geometric avatar. The browser cookie is protected with HttpOnly and SameSite settings, while the server stores only token hashes where practical.

Registering later can attach eligible guest XP and recent activity to the new account in one database transaction. Registration adds a username, email, password hash and privacy controls; it does not unlock stronger gameplay.

2. Choose how to find a rival

Choose a game and one of its published formats. Bumper Bash supports 1v1 through 5v5 and requires exactly three different abilities. Pulse Pass offers survival formats for 2–10 players. Prism Push supports 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3 with one shared directional-beam rule. Neon Cut supports 1v1 through 4v4 and gives every player the same Shield, Surge and Pulse actions. Flux Heist and Crown Shift support 1v1 through 4v4 with one equal directional action for every player. Instant Match looks for compatible people first and may use clearly labelled AI in supported queues. Human Only continues waiting for people until you cancel. The elapsed timer is real, and neither mode displays an invented queue estimate.

Registered players can add friends, exchange direct messages outside a live match and form a party of two to five. Supported Bumper Bash, Prism Push, Neon Cut, Flux Heist and Crown Shift team queues treat an accepted party as one group and always place its members on the same team. Bumper Bash members prepare individual loadouts; the other supported party games prepare the chosen format. Crown Shift, Neon Cut and Flux Heist accept parties of two to four for team sizes large enough to hold the full group.

Private challenges skip the public queue and are always Human Only, 1v1 and unranked. An expiring, high-entropy link lets one specific rival join as a guest or account holder without exposing an internal room identifier. Use the public queue for 2v2 through 5v5.

3. Join an authoritative room

The website issues a short-lived signed session credential. The multiplayer service verifies its issuer, audience, expiry and unique token ID before allowing a connection. When a room is ready, both browsers receive the same deterministic arena configuration and countdown.

During Bumper Bash, the server owns positions, health, velocities, projectiles, cooldowns, eliminations and the final result. In Pulse Pass, it owns possession, legal transfers, elimination timing and the shrinking arena. In Prism Push, it owns beam charge, cooldown, prism physics, goals, the 75-second clock and next-goal sudden death. In Neon Cut, it owns movement, exposed trails, cuts, captured cells, action cooldowns, weighted territory, the 60-second clock and bounded sudden death. In Flux Heist, it owns shard state, vault banks, Pulse and next-bank sudden death. In Crown Shift, it owns active-zone timing, contested presence, control ticks, Repulse and the 55-second clock. Browsers send sequenced input and action requests—not claims about where something moved or who won.

4. Store one verified outcome

Match persistence uses idempotency keys so a retried completion cannot award XP or rating twice. Meaningful human matches can update an Elo-style rating. AI matches grant reduced platform XP and no competitive rating. A verified server failure does not apply a rating penalty.

5. Continue on your terms

There is no free-text match chat, so play stays focused and Arcadigo does not collect match-chat messages. Registered friends can use the separate social drawer for direct messages when they are outside a live match. After the result you can use a bounded predefined reaction, request a rematch, create a Human Only, unranked 1v1 challenge, review eligible progression or leave. Accounts can choose whether country and recent history appear on the public profile. Guests can keep playing without being forced through registration.
