Hot-potato-style survival relay

Pulse Pass by Arcadigo

Pulse Pass is a 2–10 player survival relay arena. The holder has six seconds to pass the pulse to an eligible rival, cannot immediately return it to the previous holder, and is eliminated when the timer expires. Each exchange accelerates while the arena shrinks, keeping free-for-all and team matches within 45–75 seconds.

How Pulse Pass works

Pulse Pass is a free online survival game built around a familiar hot-potato decision: get rid of the dangerous object before its timer ends. One player holds the pulse. The holder has six seconds to move, aim and launch it toward an eligible rival. If the countdown reaches zero while the pulse is still theirs, that player is eliminated.

A pass must reach a legal rival

The pulse travels through the arena after it is launched; pressing the control does not guarantee a transfer. Aim at the highlighted rival and account for movement. In team formats, allies are not legal recipients. A successful recipient also cannot send the pulse immediately back to the previous holder, which prevents a two-player loop and forces a new route.

Every exchange raises the pressure

Successful transfers shorten the available hold time toward a safe minimum while the live arena contracts. Open lanes become shorter and crowded areas become riskier. The game does not choose a winner merely for being closest to the centre: the active holder loses when the timer expires, and play continues until one player or one team remains.

Passes are decisions, not damage attacks

Pulse Pass has no skill loadout or health-combat system. Movement creates the angle, the pass transfers the danger and survival decides the result. That focused rule set makes it different from Bumper Bash’s spell and physics combat.

The selected format changes legal targets and the winning condition, but it never changes the six-second opening timer or invents hidden advantages.

Beginner strategy

Move before the pulse reaches you

Do not wait for ownership to choose a route. Keep two possible opponents in view and avoid drifting into a corner where the previous holder is your only nearby option. When you receive the pulse, continue moving while you line up the pass rather than stopping to aim from a predictable point.

Aim for where the rival is going

The pulse has travel time. Lead a moving target instead of launching at their old position. A clean, early pass leaves room for a second decision if the first route closes; a desperate final launch can miss and leave too little time to recover.

Use the boundary without trusting it

The shrinking arena compresses opponents into easier lines, but it also removes your escape space. Stay far enough inward to change direction. In team modes, spread across different angles so the holder has more than one opponent to threaten and cannot herd the whole team along one edge.

Know the matchmaking policy

Instant Match searches for compatible people, then may fill open positions with clearly labelled AI after a short wait. Human Only keeps waiting and never inserts AI. Pulse Pass is unranked, so its AI matches do not masquerade as human competitive results. Read how Arcadigo matchmaking works for the full policy.
