What Arcadigo stores in your browser

Cookies are small values a website asks a browser to return on later requests. Arcadigo uses essential cookies and similar browser storage for secure sessions, language choice, game preferences and reliability. Google Analytics is optional: its tag is not loaded and its cookies are not created unless you select Allow analytics. Arcadigo does not use third-party advertising cookies.

Essential session cookie

The Arcadigo session cookie connects your browser to a server-side guest or signed-in session. In production it is marked Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax. JavaScript cannot read an HttpOnly cookie. The session identifier rotates periodically and after login to reduce fixation risk.

Blocking this cookie prevents guest continuity, sign-in, CSRF protection, matchmaking and private challenges from working correctly.

Preferences and your consent record

The chosen interface language, sound, music, reduced-effects choice and compatible gameplay settings may be kept in a cookie or browser storage. Arcadigo also stores your analytics choice in local storage so it can respect that choice on later visits. These values do not contain database passwords or match-signing secrets. Removing them resets preferences to defaults and may cause the analytics choice panel to appear again.

Security and first-party measurement

Short-lived rate-limit or anti-replay state may be associated with the server session. Arcadigo’s own servers can record limited event identifiers and page or gameplay steps for security, reliability and product performance. This first-party operational measurement does not create Google Analytics identifiers or third-party advertising profiles. Selecting Essential only prevents optional Google Analytics; it does not disable necessary security records or this limited first-party operational measurement.

Optional Google Analytics

If you select Allow analytics, Arcadigo loads Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, using measurement ID `G-TYB1XFN2NN`. The service helps Arcadigo understand visits, navigation and feature performance. The standard tag can receive the page URL and title, referrer, timestamps, page interactions, browser and device information, approximate location derived from the request and random client and session identifiers. Arcadigo does not intentionally send account usernames, email addresses, private messages, guest tokens or detailed gameplay inputs to Google Analytics.

After consent, Google Analytics can create first-party cookies on the Arcadigo domain:

• `_ga` distinguishes a browser using a random client identifier.
• `_ga_TYB1XFN2NN` (the `_ga_<container-id>` cookie) maintains session state for this measurement stream.

These cookies can last for up to two years and may be refreshed when the service is used. They are not created before opt-in. Arcadigo keeps advertising storage, advertising user data and ad personalization disabled; allowing analytics does not enable advertising cookies or personalized ads.

Arcadigo’s policy is to keep configurable Google Analytics user-level and event-level data for no more than 14 months. Aggregated reports can remain longer. Google handles information under its [Privacy Policy](https://policies.google.com/privacy) and applicable service terms.

Your controls

You can choose Essential only without losing access to the site or games. Use Analytics settings in the footer at any time to allow or withdraw Google Analytics consent. Withdrawing stops future Google Analytics collection in that browser and removes its Arcadigo-domain cookies; information already transmitted remains subject to the retention rules above. Clearing local storage also clears the saved choice, so Arcadigo will ask again.

Browser settings can inspect or delete site data and block future cookies. Deleting the Arcadigo session signs you out and may remove unclaimed guest continuity. You can continue reading public pages with cookies blocked, but interactive account and game features may not work.
